Columbus Nursery Project Timeline

March 15, 2024
03/15/24 - On this day, we received approval and permits from the State of Indiana! We received our Indiana Nursery Dealer's license, along with the other necessary permits to open.
August 10, 2024
08/10/24 - On this day, we participated in our first Plant Sale! This event was held by Shelby's Plant Nook in Franklin, Indiana and there was a fantastic turnout.
August 18, 2024
08/18/24 - On this day, we reached agreements for our final location! We are on track for our Spring, 2025 Opening Goal, and our future location is listed at the bottom of this page.
September 28, 2024
09/28/24 - On this day, we worked with the Folger's Four Seasons team for their final days of operation. During our time together, we hosted a weekend liquidation sale to prepare for the property transition.

October 1, 2024

10/01/24 - On this day, we took posession of the property! We have successfully handled the most difficult obstacle so far, of finding a location. We're honored to work with the Folger family to bring new life to this property.

October 14, 2024

10/14/24 - On this day, we opened our first annual Fall Market! We had mums, cabbage, kale, and tons of pumpkins and squash! Our pumpkins and squash were all provided by Bush's Market on the east side of Columbus.

November 22, 2024

11/22/24 - On this day, we opened our 2024 Holiday Shop! We brought in tons of poinsettias, amaryllis, live holiday greenery, and so much more! The houseplant selection is still expanding, and so many to choose from. We also announced our first set of workshops!

February 20, 2025

Late night at the nursery! Our team has been busy potting up a fresh batch of Proven Winners annuals and perennials that arrived today. Excited to watch these beauties grow—spring is just around the corner!

We received our first tropical load of the year! Lots of excitement buzzing around the nursery with just a week to go before Grand Opening!

Significant flooding hit Bartholomew County this weekend, bringing back memories of the 2008 flood. Thankfully, damage was contained to the back lot and did not enter the building, and we're still on track for an on-time Grand Opening!
